Removing the wall between the kitchen and the living room is the most requested change we see in older Sarasota homes. Some of those walls carry the roof. We confirm what each wall does, design the beam or support it needs, and pull the permit so the change passes inspection and adds value instead of risk.
Once design and selections are final and the permit is issued, most kitchens take about five to six weeks of construction on site. From the first meeting to a finished kitchen, plan on roughly ten to fourteen weeks. You receive a written schedule with your proposal, and one project manager keeps it on track.
